"I bought this printer before university, knowing that I would be printing articles, essay, drafts, etc. I wanted something reliable and more economic than the 10 cents a page cost at the library printer. Well, I didn't expect that it would see me through undergrad and halfway through grad school, and it's still going. 

I purchased it five years ago and it's still awesome. Print quality is professional. No problems with lines, creases, smudging; every copy is crisp and clean. I have even printed my sister's shower invitations and table cards on card stock - there is a feeding tray that allows non-standard size paper. I have printed cue cards for studying. I reuse paper all the time - just place the printed side up in tray. 

I've replaced the toner numerous times, but the drum hasn't worn out yet. It doesn't come with a printer cord: no printer does. Perhaps it's a little noisy, but for the price, quality, reliability, economy, and now, endurance, the noise is simply aesthetic: who cares when everything else is excellent?"

"I got this printer in early 2007 and it's still working almost 5 years later. I have never changed the toner. I think I paid around $80 for it on Amazon. I don't print every day but I have printed enough where I"m rather surprised that this baby just keeps on printing with no ink-free streaks. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable laser printer who doesn't want to spend a whole lot of money."
